Collegiate Church of Bellinzona
Alleluia Orchestra had the unique opportunity to play in the historic Chiesa Collegiata Dei Santi Pietro e Stefano Christian Catholic church in Bellinzona, Switzerland. People from various faith backgrounds came together to fill this beautiful cathedral that began construction in 1515 and was consecrated in 1565. Our orchestral sounds joined with hundreds of voices to create an amazing night of musical worship.
Pastor Milco Margaroli and his wife Daniela Margaroli Ferrini from Chiesa Ticino Online extended friendship to us and arranged this concert for the people of Bellinzona.
We received a warm welcome from the Mayor of Bellinzona, Mario Branda, who extended a generous invitation for a second visit!
While culturally diverse with four official languages of French, German, Italian and Romanish; the Swiss heritage is uniquely preserved.
